About World Youth Education and Empowerment
Our History
The organization is registered in the UK and Nigeria as Initiative for Youth Educational Empowerment (IYEE). WYEES was born out of a compassion to help underprivileged children and youths have access to basic education and training, that can empower them to maximize their potentials and make informed decisions thereby becoming change agents in the society.
Since inception, we have impacted over 150 youths in Nigeria, UK, and Canada, through our amazing leadership conference, networking events, mentoring sessions and educational sponsorship for students in elementary and high schools.
Our commitment to the development of the youth, is evident in our activities, programs, and initiatives, which are aimed at addressing knowledge and skill gaps, pertinent issues and challenges faced by young people, as well as to provide a platform for continuous support and mentoring.
Our Vision
At World Youth Education and Empowerment, our vision is to advance education by providing educational sponsorship, vocational training, and leadership development to underprivileged youth in Nigeria, Canada and other nations.
